About SURF
The Southern Union Revolving Fund (SURF) is a pool of money from members like yourself, deposited for the purpose of making funds available on a loan basis to churches and educational institutions in the local conferences of the Southern Union. Your deposit helps fund building projects and expansions for Adventist churches and schools throughout the region.
Account Details
Minimum Deposit
Open a SURF account with a minimum deposit of $1,000. Additional deposits can be made at any time.
Interest Rate
Depositors earn 3.5% per year on their SURF account balance — a competitive, faith-based investment opportunity.
Quarterly Payments
Once your balance reaches $10,000 or more, you may elect to receive quarterly interest payments directly to you.
No Withdrawal Penalty
There is no penalty for withdrawals. Most requests are processed within 10 business days; large withdrawals may require up to 90 days' notice.
