Hurricane Melissa: How You Can Help

Dear Florida Conference Family,

As we witness the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa across the Caribbean, our hearts go out to our brothers and sisters who are suffering tremendous loss. The Florida Conference Administration has authorized an immediate appeal to support the victims of this disaster.

We are asking everyone to come together to provide relief through:

  • Cash donations
  • Non-perishable foods
  • Toiletries, deodorant, bath soap, powdered laundry detergent, disinfectant
  • Flashlights and batteries

Please note that water or clothing donations are not being accepted at this time.

You can give through your local Florida Conference church, on your tithe envelopes marked "Disaster Relief." Or you can give online at Adventist Giving, by selecting "Disaster/Hurricane Relief". All funds will be securely distributed to the affected areas and used to support both church members and their surrounding communities.

All non-perishable items should be safely stored at your local church until shipment arrangements are announced. Pickup details will follow soon.

Thank you for being faithful and compassionate supporters in times of crisis. Your willingness to give and serve truly reflects the love of Christ. May the Lord richly bless you as you continue to be your brother's keeper.
